ZAC SMITH

Zac is a seasoned AFL athlete with over 120 games played between two clubs, the Gold Coast Suns and the Geelong Football Club. Born with a passion for all sports, Zac’s journey began in Rockhampton, Central Queensland. He honed his skills through dedication and hard work, rising through the ranks to compete at the highest level of Australian Rules Football, after picking up the game just 5 years before his AFL debut in 2011.

His most noteworthy career highlights were playing for Australia in the international Rules series against Ireland, playing finals for the Geelong Football Club and winning the Jim Stynes community leadership award at the 2013 Brownlow medal.

Zac is passionate about mentoring young athletes to help them unlock their athletic potential and guide them to be the best version of themselves. Currently, Zac is pursuing some business ventures and has a role with the Surfers Paradise Football Club as a player and development coach.

Married with three young children, Zac is enjoying pouring into their lives while exploring what lies next for him in his professional career.
