With over 16 years of experience at the firm, Sam has and continues to make valuable contributions to the success of the firm's valued clients.

Sam has earned a dual degree in Business and Commerce from the UniSQ Toowoomba campus, graduating with distinction. He has also completed the CPA program, holds a CPA Public Practice Certificate, is a registered Tax Agent, holds a Masters of Business Administration through UniSQ where he graduated as a valedictorian, and has graduated from the Company Director's Course through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Over the past decade, Sam has had the privilege of supporting Emu Gully Adventure Education Group Ltd as their accountant through his role as a Partner at Ambrosiussen The Business Accountants. One of the highlights was working closely with the executive team through a crucial accommodation expansion in 2018. Additionally, during the challenging years of 2020 and 2021, Sam worked very closely with the Emu Gully executive team to navigate the uncertainties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated government restrictions and assistance programs. It was an honour to become a Company Member of Emu Gully Adventure Education Group Ltd in 2022. Sam's role has always been one of support and collaboration, and as the organisation moves forward into expansion and growth, he has a heart for supporting the inspiring vision of "Shaping Great Australians" and the opportunities that lie ahead to achieve this important mission.

Sam has a fervent belief that a strong and thriving small business community is a bedrock for a successful society. In a pro-bono capacity, Sam joined the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce Board to fill the role of Treasurer from 2016 until 2019 when Sam was then elected as a Vice President and has been serving in that position since that time. First involved with the Chamber of Commerce in 2011 as part of Future Leaders, Sam has enjoyed giving back to the Toowoomba business community through his contribution to the Chamber.

Sam has been a longstanding contributor to the Liberal National Party (LNP) and serves in a volunteer capacity, serving as LNP Toowoomba South state electorate council Chair since 2016 and previously served as the Chair of the Groom LNP federal electorate council.

More recently, Sam started serving on the Board of Inclusion Access Ltd, a company dedicated to improving venue accessibility for people with disabilities through education and information sharing. His participation in different committees and advisory panels has covered various areas such as health, education, politics, business, and disability advocacy.

At a personal level, Sam was born in Mackay and moved to Toowoomba at a young age. He met his wife Ash in high school and has been married for over 10 years with three children. Sam and his family deeply appreciate the exceptional opportunities, quality of life, and sense of community that the Toowoomba region offers. Their commitment to giving back to the community is underpinned by their deep appreciation for the region they call home.
